Tangled Bloodlines by Deborah Noel {Read May 2012}

Contributor: Jamie F.

Cianna Fitzgerald is a great crime scene investigator.  After seeing a several brutal and unsolvable deaths, she retires, leaves her husband, Declan and takes her daughter Mattie to a safer area to protect her.  Five years later, Cianna is still troubled by nightmares and more in love with her husband than ever.  After a random father/daughter camping trip, life as she knows it is drastically changed and she tumbles deep into the paranormal world. I started this book without reading any reviews, so I wasn’t even sure it was a paranormal novel until several chapters into the book, my first thought was possibly detective novel.  This book was a great surprise, a wonderful combination of paranormal romance and crime drama.  The author described the scenes with such detail, I could picture them vividly.  This was a great read and very hard to put down. I would definitely recommend and give it 4 out of 5 stars.
