Blood Destiny

Blurb:

Before Renee Draven, there was another, the one who began it all. Before demons and mortals separated into their own dimensions, there was a girl sought out to begin the Draven Dynasty. She alone would stand with her Druid King and fight the forces of darkness to ensure the prophecy was fulfilled.
Elena Draven, torn from her home, taken to a foreign land of Magick and creatures that she had only seen in her dreams walking around right before her eyes. With the gift of a magical ferrum, her power comes alive and her destiny lies before her.
Kilian, her savior, the Druid King who wishes to make Elena his bride and continue the Draven lineage which will destroy the Winged One, and ensure the Chosen One’s path. Will she learn to trust him and accept his love? Or will their time run out before fate takes their lives?
Every story starts somewhere….take the journey into a part of the Draven witches that has never been told and how their Blood Destiny began…..

Excerpt:
I can’t remember how it all started, somewhere I got lost. Somewhere between then and now, I lost myself to the darkness. It fueled my desires, and all I could see was your face burning in my mind as I lit each candle and prayed to the dark goddess below that somehow I would find the answers I so desperately needed to know. All I ever wanted was love, and everyone turned away from me.
I will say one thing before I continue with my story, and listen closely. There is always a price to pay for the power you invoke. I know she is coming for me. She will want answers one day, Renee Draven. How much would you pay for the power to make the one you love, love you in return? How much would you pay to have one moment of bliss before your soul is ripped from your body? I will tell you this. If I had to do it all over again, I would, a thousand times over. I would have knelt down in front of that alter, athame in hand, and cut my hand to allow the blood to drip slowly inside the forbidden circle, all for you. You were worth every test, every surge of pain you put me through. I only wanted to save my family. I only wanted to ensure their safety, but instead I was given something quite different.
